With reference to our earlier discussions, I had spoken to the SOS Secretary General and Mr Rakesh Sinha, Director, SOS Children's Village, Varanasi in this connection. Mr Sinha informs that over the last few weeks 6 children from the weaver community have come home to the Varanasi Children's Village. Kindly inform agencies concerned that they should get in touch with SOS regarding affected children needing immediate attention and homes. With regard to weaver women who may have lost their husbands SOS would be able to offer some assistance and support in their current family situations. Contact:
